Walking through Imlil, true Berber Village.

Discover High Atlas foothills, Imlil and Toubkal, the roof of North Africa on this family friendly day excursion! From Imlil, the Chamonix of the Atlas, hikes for all abilities can be arranged, from child-friendly mule ride support to thrill seeking adventurers.

Ride out of Marrakech in a fully air conditionned 4 wheel drive vehicle through the Agafay Desert (aka Marrakech Desert), past Lake Takerkoust up to the Kik plateau and Imlil beyond, where your mule train will help you reach Armd summit and Lahcen’s tajine, which you can enjoy in full view of the snow capped summits (in winter). Return to Marrakech through Asni.  Our personnel’s intimate knowledge of the area and their absolute reliability ensure a pleasant day out for families with children or friends with plans of adventure!

Mule train support is available for this activity to take you up the mountain to Lahcen’s auberge, or you can simply go by foot!  A traditional lunch will laid out for you with views of the majestic High Atlas peaks
