Ride out of town to Agafay Stone Desert (aka Marrakech Desert) for great tracks, cool mountain air and an unforgettable ride.  Lake Takerkoust, 45 minutes from Marrakech, is known for its cool & pleasant climate even in summer… you will be able to have a look on the lake on the way in or on your way back.  For serious riders & explorers who want more, try our full day tour.

Safety first: Equipment briefing (Yamaha Buggy SSV) and… program: trails through Agafay stony reg desert on the outskirts of Marrakech to the foothills of the Atlas. And of course, great views of the High Atlas, the roof of North Africa. Our detailed knowledge of the area, top-notch in house maintenance and the complete reliability of our equipment means this half-day excursion can also be adapted to your group’s tastes for adventure and exploration.

Time permitting, our guides will be happy to show experienced riders their favorite tracks & spots. On the way, a halt is planned in a little village to stretch your legs, sip hot tea and enjoy Berber hospitality.

Discover more about the mud packed walls and stony fields draping the land. Witness first hand the dramatic contrasts between parched, desolate plateau and lush green canyons.

• Automatic transmission Yamaha Buggy (Wolverine or Rhino) for an easy and comfortable ride.

• Guide, fuel, headwear, eyewear, handwear, waterproof jacket (if necessary)
  

• Bottled water for the ride.

• Time permitting, tea & snack break with a local family.

• Departures twice a day, 8.30 AM & 1:30 PM. Exact pick up time confirmed the day before by phone.

• 2 people minimum are required for this excursion.  This can be mixed with quad bikes.

• Total time about 3 hours includes meet & greet, arrival, preparation, briefing, initiation, ride, debriefing.

• For your comfort and safety, we strongly recommend no passengers join this excursion, only riders.

• Minors 16 and over require parental waiver to pilot a buggy.

• Our guides take photos which you can share from our Facebook page. Please let us know if you would rather not appear in our pictures.

• A lot of people ask us for dunes, but unfortunately, there are no dunes close to Marrakech. If you’d like to cross dunes in buggies or quads for a day or if you’d like to cruise the Moroccan Sahara to vast palmgroves and distant wadis, ksars, kasbahs and ksours, contact us. We’ve got just the ticket.

• Have your camera with you for great snapshots or serious photography.

• We recommend you wear closed shoes, comfortable clothing, sunscreen and warm clothes for winter sunshine. To best enjoy this experience, we suggest you respect local customs and avoid wearing shorts or skirts

• For your peace of mind, we recommend you check you have a personal all risk insurance with repatriation option.
